Abstract Submission

Please fill out of all of the information and e-mail along with your abstract to: Stephanie Gavrielides at stephlg@uga.edu.

Abstract Format Instructions

  • Abstract should be saved in the rich text format (rtf). In your word processing program, go to the file menu and choose Save As. Change the type to Rich Text Format (RTF).
  • We suggest using Helvetica font for your abstract, minimum 8 point font. Do not use special characters. Type out your Greek and Scientific symbols (alpha, beta, etc.) to ensure correct syntax when the Abstract Books are printed.
  • Abstract submitter must underline their name in the list of authors.
  • Title should be followed by one return.
  • Author List and Institutions should be followed by one return.
  • Abstract size should not exceed 3.5" x 5" (88.9mm x 127mm).
  • Margins for Letter size (formatted on following page):
    • Top - 1" (25.4 mm)
    • Bottom - 5" (127 mm)
    • Left - 2.5" (63.5 mm)
    • Right - 2.5" (63.5 mm)
  • Provide any grant acknowledgments for your research (i.e., NIH-AI-13028) at the end of your abstract.
  • The maximum poster size is 36''x 48''
